Presenters:

Jonathan Maner VP of Operational Excellence, Trinity Health

Jonathan Maner is the Vice President of Operational Excellence in the Trinity Health Physician Network Organization. His direct responsibilities include oversight of PNO Operations and Finance Departments. His focus is on optimizing the operational and financial performance of the Trinity Health Physician Network to include creating and deploying a comprehensive performance management system with robust business intelligence.

Maner brings 20 years of health care experience to the PNO including his prior role as Vice President of Physician Services at multiple facilities and systems during his 12 years in two divisions within Community Health Systems (CHS). He joined the Trinity team as Senior Vice President of Physician Services at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA in 2014 and moved to the role of Vice President of Operational Excellence at the Trinity Health System Office in 2015.

Buell

Brian Buell VP of Client Management Analytics Advisory, nThrive

Brian Buell is the Vice President of Client Management Analytics Advisory at nThrive. He oversees client adoption and utilization of nThrive’s analytic advisory services. With his deep knowledge of physician compensation plans and payor rate improvement, Buell plays an intricate role in the continued development of the nThrive Analytics platform that helps to improve health care quality and enhances the experience of the communities they serve.

Buell has implemented physician compensation plans for small, independent, single specialty physician practices as well as large, hospital-owned, multispecialty groups. He is responsible for the development of data-driven rates analysis tools and strategies for various health systems. Other areas of his expertise include physician benchmarking and physician practice assessments. Buell received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Brigham Young University and a Master of Economics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
